2026 Overnight Backcountry Service Trips

Friends of Haleakalā National Park (FHNP) overnight service trips invite volunteers to give back through hands-on stewardship in Haleakalā’s backcountry and Kīpahulu region. These trips offer the opportunity to visit and care for special places within the park while staying in park cabins or bunkhouses. Projects may include seed collection, invasive species removal, trail work, and other stewardship tasks that support long-term protection of these landscapes.
